Nicholas said that when people are new to something they're not very good at it and I agree someone would be bad at something they're new at because if someone just started playing chess or something I wouldn't suspect they would be good at it, just like driving. Therefore everyone has to be a beginner sometime in there life.
20mberendsen said that 16 year olds are the age group with the most accidents on the highway because they're unsafe drivers. I disagree because 16 year olds only have a lot of accidents on the highway because they're new to driving, if an 18 year old just started he would probaly get into an accident or two. Therefore new drivers no matter what age aren't the best at driving.
They say that most of the 16 year old in America have jobs, so if people decide to increase the driving age not a lot of 16 year olds will be able to get to work (A bike only is good in summer and when it's not freezing or snowing.) I agree that they shouldn't increase the driving age because all of the fast food places where 16 year olds usually work will closed because none of the 16 year olds will get to work, there for increasing the driving age will end closing down a lot buisnesses.
20phanssen said that teens shouldn't have licenses until 17 or 18 but, I think that 17 or 18 year olds will act the same by being new inexpirienced driver, and get into crashes as well 16 year olds when they get their driver license. therefore they shouldn't raise the driver age because they everyone will be inexpirienced when they first start something
